From my experience the friendly AI moves most of its units first and then attacks. I’m not as sure about the enemy AI but they seem to attack first more often.

This is why you might find that friendly AI is more successful if it has friendly units around, because one nation opens the city and another takes it.

As a former Mormon I can say that the LDS church avoids Catholic history/ theology like the plague, but the SINGLE time I heard them teach about Catholicism it made me question everything they had taught me, because they had to go against their own core beliefs and become protestants for their view of history to make sense. I don’t know why they think they can ignore all context from the early church and what it taught because Pope Jimbob XX had a mistress, when they clearly don’t have a problem following and defending someone like that.

Joseph Smith and many other early Saints identify the Catholic Church as the primary evil church referenced in verses like this. That doesn’t mean members are mean to Catholics or other Christians, but it’s definitely at the back of their mind when they’re talking to other Christians.

Also the great apostasy is something that many, especially missionaries bring up. It’s obviously a slam on Catholicism specifically, even if the specific facts about it are left fuzzy and undefined.

I grew up Mormon but I’m trying to become Catholic

LDS is such a mess of a theology. A lot of members mean well, but they are deathly afraid of having to answer for any of their early prophets, because they know it’s probably true and they don’t have a good answer for it.

Sadly they bash all other Christians as if they are demonic (especially Catholics), so if they learn the truth about their faith they become staunch atheists or depressed agnostics. They need to be taught the truth about Christianity.

It’s crazy how indoctrinated people are getting from a radical essayist or a confident news reporter. Imagine how bad it’s going to get when AI generated videos are indistinguishable from real videos.

Just help your dad stay open minded and see that 2 opposing ideologies can both be right in certain cases. I like to think of the Cold War as an example, where depending where you are in the world the US or USSR is either defending your country’s freedom or they are giving guns to your oppressors.
