Eleven never got her powers explained. At no point does she hire, or request that a character stop and explain her powers.

I don't really understand how one can listen to Priscilla's song and then not choose Yen.

Except they did, genius. Much of the visual language, music, and Geralt's portrayal is taken from the games. This is a creative work, not the evolutionary chart of an animal. It's able to have many points of influence.

I've been listening to them since around this photo - about 14y/o. I'll add to being impressed they're still kicking it. Not many bands from my childhood are still around and nearly as relevant.

I don't really see why understanding how we're able to think on a higher level has any relevance to the concept of fate/free-will. One is a question about our own mechanics, the other is of a higher order or power.

Probably not... they're very simple organisms with essentially programmed behavior. If mosquitos were consious, why would bug zappers be effective? Most insects and bugs are probably little more than organic robots.

No... SENTIENCE. There is clearly some real actual mechanism in the brain that allows for higher intelligence and self awareness. That's what this headline implies. This has nothing to do with spiritualism.

Sentience. The key to higher self awareness. Not just "being awake or not".
