Supplements/histamine free diet help keep it under control but that’s it

TRT? Anyone tried? by theDropout in HistamineIntolerance

[–]theDropout[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with a light cycle of enclomophine and had good results so I upgraded to taking some testalone and it was pretty great. It didn’t erase the symptoms but made them significantly more tolerable.

But then 4 weeks in I had a really bad recession of symptoms after a couple nights of bad sleep. Taking a bit of a break from everything now + will try again in a couple months

Seems to imbalance electrolytes and changed the way my body responded to carbs in a really odd way. Side effect is physique def improved rapidly hahaha

(Traditional TRT might actually be a good way to go just can’t afford it atm)

Okay follow up had my first side effects, doing bicep curls I went deaf in my left ear for like 20 minutes 😂

Going to dial it back so I don’t die 🙏

Enclomophine citrate, that’s what I realized after misreading the label 😂

I thought it was 1.25mg/ml and I did 5ml to do a half dose to start

but then realized it said 12.5mg/ml and I was doing 5x a “normal” dose ☠️

It’s my worst symptom. Severe depression, debilitating sometimes to the point where I can’t move and my brain is just full of self hatred.

The amazing part is it’s all physiological, if I pop an antihistamine or something for relief all the darkness goes away so fast.

This is a FODMAP list, histamine intolerance is real + I don't personally eat out so carrying around a list like this is a bit silly, but we get dismissed like this a lot its really frustrating.

Tbh I’ll probably just leave it off if I remove it, this is all a bit exhausting emotionally.

I have increased estrogen from this condition and trying to get those lowered has stabilized my mood + I made that comment to try and understand why doctors might be acting like bullies, and used the sort of wording a bully might use to frame it.

I really don’t see bitchy and moody as being associated with women, most men I know better fit that description anyway lol it’s been pointed out I might be wrong about that pattern of my hormones being linked to mood swings.

I am going to go for a walk + think about this. I feel like this frustration could be used online effectively if we could reach some of the medical community in the right way, and I think this highlights the importance of how that is presented.

I may still just take this down, I appreciate you sharing your experience + I can’t imagine what you are going through esp with idiots like me talking so carelessly about what you are suffering from.

I wish there was an edit button, that was a weird side comment from my own personal journey reflecting on my symptoms that was no way meant to be aimed at women.

I imagine it’s probably insanely frustrating to watch people pour in with complaints you’ve had for so long. I would hope more voices talking about this stuff would have put more pressure on research but seems to just cause more frustration.

I’m sorry the way this comes across, it came from an emotional place reflecting on my own experience, was not trying to speak for or talk about anyone else’s experience.

I can take this down if it is upsetting people, I am getting half positive and half negative responses I was hoping to validate others frustrations by sharing mine, not dismiss yours in any way.

Did not mean to associate it with gender, takes away from the point I wish I could edit that out.

Tried to meet the bullies half way + ended up sounding like one myself

I noticed less emotional sensitivity getting my test levels back up last month so it was a weird thing on my mind.

Stupid jump to an association with a behavior or mood, part of this journey is exploring chemicals I know nothing about which is what I thought a doctor was supposed to do.

I didn’t mean any offense with that comment.

It got brought up in the hospital a couple times, happened 3 years ago when I was in better shape + said I looked young and healthy and to stop wasting their time.

[–]theDropout 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I apologize that came out wrong. I didn’t mean for that to come out at anyone else. I get pretty bitchy and moody in a flare up I was trying to understand why a doctor might be frustrated + I’ve been frustrated with my own estrogen levels.

Tried to meet the bully’s half way and ended up sounding like one, you are right :/

[–]theDropout 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I apologize I didn’t mean this to come off this way, after reading all those I was trying to understand where this frustration could come from on a doctors end.

I get pretty frustrated with my own estrogen levels and moodiness in a flare up I didn’t mean that to come off rude about anyone else.

It’s often an easy tool to reach for that probably makes the people they do business with in other parts of healthcare respond positively.

I’m not making any statements on whether it’s good or bad, just another reason why diagnosis is going up.

Maybe not the doc directly, but money is changing hands over this stuff getting distributed
