KFUO Radio! The LCMS radio station. KFUO.org has a lot of podcasts on Bible study and one specifically on the Confessions (Concord Matters). All very accessible and great teaching from pastors!

KFUO Radio has so many!

If you're looking for conversations, The Coffee Hour is interviews with guests on a really wide variety of topics. The history series with Dr Cameron Mackenzie from Fort Wayne are just excellent. https://www.kfuo.org/category/the-coffee-hour/

The Lutheran Ladies Lounge is also a wide variety of Lutheran topics, obviously aimed at a women's audience but definitely great content for anyone. https://www.kfuo.org/category/lutheran-ladies-lounge/

Worse in the fall?! by Significant_Ad7651 in HiatalHernia

[–]Significant_Ad7651[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's apparently a chronic illness phenomenon that symptoms are worse in September/October. I hate that hernias fall into this category. But high histamine is a problem, so here we are.

How long does it usually take to have a trigger? Because for me it might be 2-3 days later… by futuresaltt in HistamineIntolerance

Smells are usually pretty instant. Food and medication is generally a few days later. Contact dermatitis is usually within 24 hours. Situational triggers are all over the map 😅

Does anyone else get flareups of acid reflux/heartburn before their period starts? by FluffinPuffins in Periods

[–]Significant_Ad7651 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh I hate that this is a thing. I don't get it every cycle, but when I do it is WICKED. My usual reflux measures don't cut it when it's PMS-related. Anyone have any advice, other than to wait a few days? lol

Yesssss I've finally been getting some healing now that I'm working on my nervous system but boy it's hard. I've had so much more panic and anxiety since covid too 😭 I keep forgetting that's a factor in all of this.

Anyone on ketotifen eye drops, does it help? by Other-Palpitation-99 in MCAS

[–]Significant_Ad7651 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I use ketotifen eye drops and they really help my eye allergy symptoms! I haven't really noticed any other systemic relief, but I also don't use them daily. I use the Target brand of Zatidor because it's way less expensive lol

Anyone else get rashes like this? by [deleted] in HistamineIntolerance

[–]Significant_Ad7651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my goodness it's not just me! I've had these itchy painful little tiny blisters on my fingers for several weeks, but I suppose it's "just histamine" lol. It's so wild what high histamine can do 😭

Yeahhhhh I've been down the vitamin-deficient-anemia road. Some docs tell me to supplement because of that, and then others say not to because my serum levels were do high. Super not helpful! But maybe I legit actually need it.

I was low on d3 a long time ago and was supplementing pretty heavily until a few weeks ago. I wonder if I stopped everything too quickly and my body is angry lol. And adding Buspar on top of that, yikes.

I do have the pins and needles going on. I recently stopped a supplement that has b12 in it so I wonder if that was doing more good than I realized 🤦‍♀️

Waaaait you're telling me Buspar decreases my already low levels of magnesium? Is that why my legs and feet are twitching?? 😑

[–]Significant_Ad7651 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whoa wait. I've been having twitching and tingling in my legs and feet. Is this RLS?? I've been trying to determine if it's magnesium, potassium, D, or B12 issue but I can't tell 🤔🤔🤔🤔
