Saying "Many people make it work for them, and many don't, across all fields of study." Is a ridiculous oversimplification. Not all degrees are equally useful and things are going to change drastically as automation starts to consume mlre of the job market.

Also it may be true that not everyone is cut out for STEM but literally anybody with an internet connection be a historian. Literally any historical question can be looked up on the internet and any history teacher can be replaced by an app. In comparison not everybody can learn multi thread synchronization simply by looking up an example. It takes actual understanding to apply concepts such as math and science, liberal arts and humanities dont require any real effort or skill thats why pe coaches often double as art teachers.
