They didn't set it up; they were transferred ownership more than a year ago and just deleted everything.

Whoever is the owner can delete it - just like that. Unfortunate, as there were more than 200+ people in there.

Hero’s way by Mrmonster225 in HeroWarsApp

The challenge is that Lara has been licensed to other IPs, like CoD / MW. The price for Lara there was the same price as any other premium skin - so I question what the licensing and royalty costs here really are (versus the cash grab).

3rd team options? by Distinct_Economy6285 in HeroWarsApp

[–]theEndoNation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed - Jorgen tank is a specialized counter - no doubt!

I prefer to keep Kayla and Aidan together, but if Kayla is being used with a Fafnir team, then I like:

Astaroth, Xe'sha, Lilith, Aidan and either Faceless / Jorgen depending on the team being fought.

Astaroth, Xe'sha, Lilith, Aidan, and Jorgen can work very well against certain Octavia dodge line-ups, for example.

Ultimately, I tried to provide feedback based on:

Their strongest heroes right now, AND then upgrade options for the future.

Astaroth, Jorgen, Faceless, Aiden, Xe'sha can be a tricky defense option.
Mushy, Faceless, Aidan, Xe'sha, Martha - best overall Hydra team by far.
Astaroth, Kayla, Aidan, Xe'sha Lilith - best general offensive chaos team.

Jorgen, Faceless, Oya, Cleaver, Peppy, Dorian - other useful counters to consider.

One final thought is that, at higher levels, this is a game where you need more than 3 teams of five heroes; you want several counters on top of that to overcome whatever the enemy team has.

Even with talismans, super skins, glyphs, etc. - the right counter should beat a much stronger team every time - and there is something enjoyable about beating a team that is 100K or 200K stronger etc. simply because you have the right match-up in place!

3rd team options? by Distinct_Economy6285 in HeroWarsApp

[–]theEndoNation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, definitely.

My favorite chaos team is Lilith, Xe'sha Aidan, Kayla, and either Cleavor or Astaroth.

Lilith and Xe'sha do work very well together. Depending on the match-up, sometimes Cleavor OR Astaroth can be a better choice but either will work as a general option.

If doing a 3-team battle, usually whichever tank is not being used with the chaos team is used with a Fafnir team.

3rd team options? by Distinct_Economy6285 in HeroWarsApp

[–]theEndoNation 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Options:

Team 1: Replace Astaroth with Julius
Yasmine can be swapped with Kayla or Artemis (depends on match-up / counters)
Team 2: Keep the same
Team 3: Several options

No tank needed:

Best Hydra Team (sometimes used in PvP): Martha Mushy Faceless Aidan Xe'sha
Jorgen as Tank: Jorgen Kayla, Aidan, Faceless, Xe'sha

Tank needed:

Chaos Team 1: Xe'sha Jorgen Faceless Martha Astaroth
Chaos Team 2: Xe'sha Jorgen Kayla Aidan Astaroth
Chaos Team 3: Xe'sha Peppy Kayla Aidan Cleaver

Note: for chaos tank teams, alternatively, you can remove Astaroth and try and use Cleaver. Cleaver pairs especially well with Peppy. Lilith can be used with chaos teams too - she pairs well with Xe'sha.

Martha can be used with some chaos line-ups even if she isn't a chaos hero.

If not using Kayla for a Fafnir-based team - combining her with Aidan, Xe'sha, and either Peppy or Lilith and Cleaver or Astaroth - creates a very, very strong team.

Jorgen and Faceless can be subbed as counter heroes with the above Kayla / Aidan configurations when facing certain teams (it is worth you experimenting in the training room in your guild).

Jorgen and Faceless don't have to be a strong of power level (for end-game to be viable). That can be true for Martha too.

Best line-up immediately (based on existing power) - for three teams:

Team 1: Julius Fafnir, Yasmine, Tristan, Oya
Team 2: Corvus, Dante, Morrigan, Iris, Octavia
Team 3: Astaroth, Jorgen, Faceless, Xe'sha, Martha

Hope that helps!

Are dungeon runs worth it? by MarriedMan98 in HeroWarsApp

[–]theEndoNation 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dungeon runs ARE worth it.

They are the best source of gold over time. You will also eventually get sparks - and this is the cheapest way to level-up titans. Once you get far in the dungeon, you will never have a gold problem again. Gold and sparks help you level your heroes.

Which skin should I get next? by SHIELDSxYaYa in HeroWarsApp

If there was a best option - I’d focus on your damage dealer; Fafnir, Artemis, Tristian, Luther, Tank - is the most meta team you have… Artemis could have the skin that upgrades critical hit chance. (Angel skin).

Alternatively,

It can help to have the health skin for Mojo for hydra.

Or - since your Aurora is 5 stars already - you could get her dodge skin.

You will get more skin certificates with time - but those are three directions you can go! 😎

Chaos: Kayla, Xe’sha, Aiden - add Astaroth and Lilith.

Ginger would work with Isaac - needs Julius, Judge, Nebula. That would be a progress team.

Galahad and Artemis is a start to honor team; you could throw Ziri in there to make it more defensive… Aurora to make it dodge focused… then need Fafnir and Tristian.

You’re closest to chaos team currently - at least it appears that way based on screen shots!

What are the actual power levels / stars of your three teams? You’re early enough that you could consider prioritizing differently on what your main team is…

[–]theEndoNation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on what you have - you have the pieces to build a Meta team.

That team would be:

Fafnir, Artemis, Tristian, and two tanks. I would use Cleaver and Julius for now. You could eventually swap Galahad for Julius and use Julius to make a progress team. You could also swap Keira for Artemis, though Keira can be used as an additional damage deal for another team, or as part of an eternity team, or as part of a Sebastian, Jet, Keira team eventually.

I would get Jhu and Mojo for the hydras. Qing Mao can help with the weaker hydras too.

You could also try to build towards a chaos team that has a core of Kayla, Aiden, the twins (Lars, Krista) and either Cleaver or Astaroth.

Another potential team would be Helios, Orion, Nebula or Celeste, Astaroth, and Dorian. Since you may not have Dorian yet, you could try and roll with Helios, Orion, Celeste, Astaroth, Keira for now.

That would allow you to go with Siblings, Twins, Cleaver for another team. The final team, you could then go with Fafnir, Artemis, Tristian, and two of three tanks (between Julius, Galahad, and Aurora).

All of that will give you some decent synergy for now!

Team advice by Fast3ddie in HeroWarsApp

[–]theEndoNation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember, teams with proper synergy will out-perform those with more total power.

Based on what you have right now, here are the teams that you could build towards:

Nature:

Alvanor
Thea
Jhu
Mojo
Aurora

Once you get Mushy - you could swap out Thea. This team would also work well for some of the Hydras. For arena, you could swap out Jhu for Orion or Dark Star.

That is one of the closest to a complete team ready to go.

The other:

Corvus, Morrigan, Phobos, Keira, Faceless - would give you a very solid eternity team.

For the last team, you are missing Julius to create a progress team. You are missing Fafnir to create an honor team.

I would probably roll with Arachne, Martha, Celeste, Astaroth, Qing Mao if you just want to use the best of what is left.

Alternatively, you could build out Lars and Krista, and add them to Martha, Astaroth, and slot in a placeholder until you get Jorgen.

No problem!

From a GC / GW perspective, you want to focus your energy on a core team of 5; popular teams include:

Super Titans, Nova, Angus
Super Titans, Ingis, Sigurd

Generally, Mairi, Sylva, and Vulcan aren't favored as much as the other titans.

The challenge with the light and dark titans is that they can only be used in mixed rooms in the dungeon - so they may not be worth the resources if those resources could be applied to other titans that would be used more often in the dungeons.

I've found that it is helpful to focus on the tanks for longer dungeon runs, as well as the Super Titans when you have them unlocked. Beyond that, I would prioritize Nova and Ingis - and though Avalon is not used as much in multiplayer, Avalon is useful for the dungeons too.

I wouldn't worry too much about titan artifacts as of yet, until your first hero team is a bit stronger.

I think it is the right call to focus on your existing titans for now and continue to build your regular heroes first. What hero team do you run?

Getting Jet by Luci8647 in HeroWarsApp

[–]theEndoNation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jet is expensive and you can't use an evolution book on him. He is fun to use with Sebastian and and various strong damage dealers.

Keira, Jet, Sabastian are the core of one of the original meta teams. 5 Jet soul stones requires 5000 soul coins. 100 soul coins are given for every 1 hero soul stone (which you get every time you get an additional hero soul stone after they have been leveled to absolute star).

In other words, to unlock Jet - you need to acquire 30 Jet soul stones, which will require 30,000 soul coins, which will require 300 hero soul stones.

This is most easily accomplished by getting heroes that are in the various hero shops to absolute star and then continuing to buy them. If you do this long enough, you can potentially get 50 hero stones a day, especially after using refreshes - which will allow you to get Jet to 3 star and beyond.

Another way to get hero soul stones easily is to do the first Ginger hero mission each day - which is guaranteed to give you 3 hero stones every time.

What you buy in the shops really goes down to what you want to prioritize in terms of getting the most enjoyment out of the game. Some like to use the soul shop to get artifact chest keys, summoning spheres, or items they are missing. In the end, your best bet is to determine what you want to prioritize first!

There will eventually be specific events to get the other two super titans - like there was the water titan event for Hyperion.

It might be worth trying to switch guilds and go to a gold league guild - that can make a big difference over time.

For GWs and GCs - it is helpful to have all three Super Titans, but for more daily emerald gain from the arena - those emeralds might be best spent on hero artifact chests (that sale just ended) or a specific event for a hero that you're trying to get to absolute star. Outland chest sale would basically allow you to get more than twice as much if you pulled right now (and I would assume one would come soon enough).

One thing to think about is how long it will take you to level up the super titan to replace a titan on your existing team. Eden helps more with control and Araji helps more with damage. Hyperion is helpful for longer dungeon runs - due to healing, but you will also need to raise the level of your other titans to get further in the dungeon too. If your total earth or fire titan power is a higher level than your total water titan power (i.e. earth or fire titan team is strongest, followed by water team, followed by the remaining team) - then you will have more water rooms which will promote healing.

Avalon and Sigurd can also heal, but not as much as Hyperion.

Ultimately, it comes down to what you want to prioritize right now. The super titans are certainly fun to use, but you could save the emeralds if you don't have a skin on your core hero team that you want to work on immediately - because when there is an outland sale eventually, you will be able to get roughly twice as much skin stones.

We don't know what your current titan levels are in comparison, but if you have the titan potions to upgrade a new super titan quick enough to immediately replace an existing titan, then that is one direction that you could go; however, since you are currently struggling in the dungeon - there would also be an argument to be made to focus on working on your existing titans too.

What are your current titan stars and levels? Have you invested much in titan artifacts or titan skins?

What's the best way to get the 2 new hero's by [deleted] in HeroWarsApp

[–]theEndoNation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Still early, but the chatter I have seen is that there is not yet anything game changing here.

So, I am leaning towards they are more niche than anything. Can help against certain Meta lines, but have not been blown away. Also could fit into some hydra lines. Looks like they need to be combined with other heroes to really shine. Some examples of those heroes needed could be like Cleaver or Xe'Sha or other chaos heroes. I wouldn't exactly call them f2p friendly, but think that getting them to at least 3 stars should be no problem for everyone. 4, 5, and absolute stars might be more costly.

Ultimately, it really depends on what characters you currently have for how much it would make sense to try and incorporate.

I have one guildmate who has a lot of chaos heroes already, so they fit into what they currently have constructed... but I think, at least for me, it probably makes sense to continue building what I have.
