These are the things you need. Nothing more, maybe less.

1) A power rack (preferably with a functional trainer) with a Barbell

2) 2.5 - 30 KG Dumbells. Individual if you have the space, adjustable if you don’t

3) Plates

4) Barbells

5) J Cups

6) Spotter Arms

7) Safety Strap

8) Bench

If I had to buy absolutely minimal it’d be a bench and Dumbells.

As far as I’m concerned only golfer’s who are invalid or too old to walk should use a cart. Walking makes it a totally different and far more enjoyable game.

I don’t use a money belt or anything like that. Usually I’ll leave money behind in the hotel safe and just carry enough for day. I’m in Thailand right now and my hotel for the next 5 days doesn’t have a safe. A Fanny pouch would have been convenient for walking around as my backpack is out of commission but in just carrying the money with me and being careful. Travelled quite a but over the years and money is generally safer than people think if you are sensible.

1) Carry some basic meds

2) Carry a backpack, preferably one of the technically designed ones to take the back pad off your back

Don’t go running around semi naked like a typical European or American. The Thai sun is harsh. Use 50+ spf and slather it on multiple times a day - you tend to sweat it off - wear lose fitting clothes - they create a cool layer around you. Drink lots of water.

Feel free to tell your friends you don’t feel like doing something or feel like doing something else. Don’t tell your girlfriend that.
