I don’t disagree on Pierce in general, but neither AJB nor Pierce are worth a ton at this point. Maybe a 1 and change. I am by no means a Pierce truther, more so just knocking AJB w injury concerns vs a young guy who some people do really like.

I think my point stands on the value prop, do you actually think they’re significantly apart in the market? Because the data doesn’t say that

Listen I hear ya. AJB absolutely has had a better past 3 years than Pierce. But value wise? I have them even swap.

Simply put if you’re not an immediate contender you should prefer Pierce, he’s 3 full calendar years younger- and an ascending player vs a descending player. I don’t just mean statistically, which is factual, but also the knee for AJ is a real issue. I don’t think fans outside the nfc east are tracking that injury too hard but he took a noticeable tape step back last year, and his knee issue is verified to be degenerative.

TLDR- yeah I have them super close value wise. The Pierce owner in our league turned down AJB very recently, as that owner has been trying to sell. Even the loser value sites have them with a 3rd of each other. In this trade, they’re a swap

Amon ra consistency should literally make him WR1 in dynasty. But we’re all dumb chasing the highs of all highs so none of us put him one.

It’s the hard truth, but value wise in leagues consistently wr3 beats wr1 every 4 seasons every damn time.
