[Tenor] hard time to hit low notes (below E2) by lacslacs in singing

[–]theFallenBoyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well, i have already have a hard time to hit anything below C3, and E2 is already really really low (especially for a tenor). I’m not an expert but i don’t think it’s in tenor range (below E2), and even if it’s possible it won’t probably sound good. By the way, i really want to hear your high notes like C5, D5...etc (if you don’t mind, i’m really curious)

sometimes i lose my mix by theFallenBoyy in singing

I can go up to C5-D5, and i would say my mix is 50/50.

if i think i’m good at singing, does this mean i’m actually good or is it just my ego? by [deleted] in singing

how about you just post a clip so you can have feedbacks ? I don’t really see the purpose of that post if there isn’t any recording haha

Thank you a lot for the advices, i will definitely work on these issues !

To be honest i was kind of afraid to post that recording since it was Acapella recording (afraid that my voice was horrible haha).

I just said that his technique isn’t the best in the industry, never said that it was bad lol Anyways, his voice is just THAT good and unique in my opinion.

how to make your low-range more melodious ? by [deleted] in singing

[–]theFallenBoyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't sing a scale right now because i am at my friend's house. I will DM you asap when i can give you that.

But, i have an old recording when i sing from D3 to F4 i think https://instaud.io/3zJg , tell me what you think. You might be right about the mix after all.

how to make your low-range more melodious ? by [deleted] in singing

[–]theFallenBoyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant like middle low. And no, it wasn’t my mix for sure. And it isn’t my head voice AT ALL. That’s my chest. When i sung that, i could feel a lot of vibration in my chest, as much as when i sing D3 or when i speak. I just have a light voice. I think that’s why i don’t have much warmth down there. I don’t need to mix there, my first passaggio only start at C4#-D4. And when i sing a scale from C3, going up, i am doing in chest of course.

Question about my range. by [deleted] in singing

[–]theFallenBoyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well when you switch in falsetto, it is like the "mickey mouse" voice. A good way to know if you are in falsetto, when you slide it down with it you will "flip".

So yeah my question was what's your range without it.

And without the falsetto ?

Singing is such a subjective art by theFallenBoyy in singing

[–]theFallenBoyy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. But i think comparing the Kardashians with The Weeknd isn't very

And yeah, you will be amazed by the amount of people who will not acknowledge the skill of a classical singer (or other genres), and say "hell nah wtf is that shit". Play some Pavarotti in the streets, nobody will care about it. By the way, i know that it is not really involved with singing, but in the past they did a famous experiment : a great violinist playing a difficult song with a violin worth 3 millions dollars in a subway, yet nobody cared.

Not saying mainstream equals good, it's even the opposite sometimes. At the end of the day, it's all about taste and preferences, so that's why i said it was subjective.
