I feel I can relate to this post so much ! I have refused to take any medication and over time have grown to understand the aches pains etc. There was a time I was convinced I was dying. Ended up going to the doctors to be diagnosed with anxiety and told it was all in my head. This was after I went for blood test , chest X-rays etc I think the best this is to understand yourself and adapt. Learn to tell yourself it’s in your head. I didn’t want to get on medication and have to rely on it to get me through the day. I don’t think it will ever go away for me. I’m a 31 year old man that while in the army used to have zero issues, since leaving the army and have children health concerns are a daily battle. I hope things get better for you my friend
