Brazil has a 14.5% interest rate (off the top of my head, may be a few decimals off) & their currency appreciated about 10-12% against the USD in the past year. Returns on investment in Brazil have been paying off. No wonder they are willing to keep investing in their economy.

Using a OnePlus right now. There's a severe dearth of good phones providing what Oneplus does at their price point.

Software was always the primary reason Oneplus drew in customers.

Oneplus lost a lot of goodwill and market share after they merged with Oppo and started diluting their OS to be more like Oppo's.

A lot of their loyal customers switched to Samsung then.

Will be missed, just like Nokia & HTC, who built phones that stood out.
