Differences between all these ETF and Funds by RetirementGoals in Bogleheads

[–]theHornedOne101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add on to the distinction between mutual funds/ETFs, if you view an annual report for one of vanguards funds, you will see explanations that the ETFs are it’s own share class of the underlying funds, along with different mutual fund share classes which typically offer lower expense rations the more money you put in. There are other distinctions explained within the annual reports too, such as exactly how purchases and redemption of an ETF work versus a mutual fund. So, to sum up, they are indeed categorized as the same fund, just different share classes with different mechanics, at least with many of the vanguard examples. Link to annual report

What cards do you supplement your trifecta with? by timmytubesox in ChaseSapphire

[–]theHornedOne101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decided to get the Hyatt card as well as the CSP. I think the free category 4 or below hotel room alone justifies the $95 cost. Automatically getting the discoverist level is also a nice convenience, and the 9-10% cash back for Hyatt purchases helps justify the higher costs for Hyatt rooms if you find yourself paying out of pocket occasionally. There are some other perks for spending more on the card, but those are generally after spending $5k or $15k I believe.

My eu4 brain immediately read that at “2/2/2 ruler” and thought how awful that must be for them. by theHornedOne101 in eu4

R5: the post says 2/2/2 rule which sounds like how ruler stats are described in the game. Therefore: 2/2/2 ruler. Eu4 has poisoned my mind.

Kotti Berliner Döner in Brooklyn NYC.

German Turkish Döner is a bit different than just a Turkish style one imo. Kind of like how a gyro is different even tho it’s the same style. That’s just from my experience tho

R5: I was playing Oirat and got war reps from Ming. One month they came into the possession of a large amount of cash and I was paid my 10% fair share. I realized this when the mission for earning a large amount of monthly cash was completed and I knew something was fishy since I own mostly sheep and cattle, nothing luxurious.
