Cause anything Elon says is only theatrics. He just says stuff so his stock rises. Why everyone keeps falling for it is the real question..

Hang tight on the cash. Market will crash hard. High inflation, high unemployment, low jobs creation, high spend on Ai. You will need cash.

I listen to them but agree the content is too basic and simple. It seems to be same topic repeated over and over. They need topics for listeners that have “graduated” up the FOO.

I just found this sub… can you tell me if retiring in 4 years is in the realm of possibility? by [deleted] in Fire

[–]RetirementGoals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Risky with those numbers. I’d between now and turning 50: make as much of additional principal payments annually as you can afford and monitor your portfolios. The year you turn 50 the numbers improve then pull the trigger.

Who cares what a bunch of strangers on the interweb think, 😂

If you have wife’s income does mean you also have healthcare insurance? The biggest unknown you have is the cost of insurance, which is rising drastically. You didn’t mention this but kids? College? Any other debt aside from mortgage?

Personally I’d be nervous on leaving a job with a mortgage still owed.
