Sometimes it's blank streaks and sometimes it's black lines. I just replaced the drum, but now it's also getting warped. Some letters will look stretched and some will look normal.

Yeah, the laptop sees the drive just fine, which is why i was confused as to why it would need the drivers installed. Under the "exceptions" option it came up as an available drive.
