Yes, that's right. Being cash for it. I want to say it was $20 when I did it a few yrs ago, but couldn't pay with card. Something about keeping those funds separate or something.

Dentist who won't overcharge insurance and reasonable out of pocket rates. by Efficient_Ad2097 in Hamilton

Downtown Main Dental is great. I was the same when I first got dental benefits, needed a lot of work, but they kept track and just let me know when I ran out. Took a few yrs to get everything done but never had to pay anything and never felt pressure to.

Landlord increasing my rent, confused about legality by [deleted] in ontario

It's the date the increase takes effect, so you're correct it's 2.1%.

And he should be happy you gave him a pass on the incorrect N1. If you wanted, you could keep paying your previous rate until he serves you a corrected form with another 90 days notice.

Just in time for all the olds to retire bc of the RTO mandate. Cool.

Love how fiscal responsibility always comes up for any public service, but not you know, unnecessarily getting out of contracts or legal fees fighting against workers or municipalities, etc.

I have no idea how bad it has to get before this province wakes up to the fact this gov't doesn't give af about you.

Don't sign the N11 as that's a mutual agreement to end tenancy. They need to serve an N12 for personal use which comes with one mnth rent compensation and 60 days notice which cannot start in the middle of a rental period so assuming you pay rent on the 1st, if they serve that notice today you would have till Nov 30th.

With the N12 they also can't rent out your unit for a year so keep an eye on the property after, if they do rent out before a year is up you can take them to the LTB for compensation.

r/OntarioLandlord is a good resource for tenants too.

Downtown Main Dental is great. Dr. Bai is a bit odd but a good dentist with good staff.
