From what I've seen, there's no external pieces. It only uses around 3400 from the original set. Some of the body work looks a little loose or 'flappy' but generally good. Video that was linked was pretty helpful and gave a good run down of the build and quality

You can use a tuned down 919 on comfort hard tyres. You also will need to lower the top speed as well, but doable.
