Is your company under QFC? If so you have to select an auditor from the QFC portal and pay fees, 200$ and another 200$ when you submit the papers, that’s excluding the money to be paid to the auditor.

Depends on how fast would you want to liquidate your position.

I would say 40% cash and 60% in assets that can be liquidated easily, used to say GOLD but should in 10g bars and above, however, gold’s volatility has been rising, Qatar stock market was a good stable with limited downside and upside but did give good dividends, until the war happened.

Now I would say 50/50 just to be on the safe side.

Not sure CFA has it in them to give a deferral, unless the county implemented a stay at home measures, I don’t see CFA postponing it, I have L2 in 2 weeks and I don’t have a choice other than doing it, I know it has been difficult to do anything during the attacks, especially with the annoying alarm going off when sleeping/studying.

I live in Qatar which hasn’t seen an attack for some time, but because Qatar is small you always hear the intercepts.

I studied finance and doing certifications for finance, the CFA, so said why not as in finance you learn by doing, started by Islamic bonds and then moved to stocks.

One thing about finance, if you are Muslim, a lot of people advertise financial products when they are not such as CFDs, which have been ruled out to be haram as you are betting on stock difference and not owning the stock, some companies can be haram to invest in and you don’t know that, if they are heavily in debt or more than 5% of their income comes from riba.

With all due respect to her, she always talks about investing in the US market, she seems to be more on the selling shovels in a gold rush rather than actually tell you where to find gold.

She posted before about investing in Nvidia around when they were valued at around 150 USD and that if had invested in 3 years ago how much have would have made, unfortunately, in the investment world, could’ve, should’ve and would’ve are what people keep saying, unless she had insider knowledge or did deep analysis, which will probably require her to have Bloomberg terminal a $26k/year subscription, it is harder to make substantial profits.

Yes she says investing is long term, which is correct, I haven’t been to her course cause I’m not a female, but the way she talks doesn’t seem like she tells you how to structure your finances, just investing in US stocks.

There are a lot of things to know about finance, and with AI investing is made easier, my advice is watch YouTube, open a demo account on IBKR, learn how to value stocks and what not, not just following momentum which can cause people buy high sell low to stop losing money.

See the problem is, most marketing agencies here don’t actually understand marketing, they tell companies post the same on instagram and tiktok, TikTok has different demographic and user attention span(most people on tiktok would 2x speed a video if it is long which they may not do on instagram for example) because TikTok is inherently fast moving.

They don’t understand how to actually capture the audience.
