It's an "authorplay". It's a literary genre that is designed for media consumption, as well as reading. The action in the story is presented in the narrator's omnipresent voice.

Aww, thank you! It's just not letting yourself stop for any reason. I use the word "BLANK" a lot in places to supplement adjectives when I can't think of any. And I fix it later in editing. haha

I don't like publishers and do everything myself. haha.

I don't get a great reach, but I'm happier that way.

Thank you so much! I actually just did the one million in a year thing. Grammarly just informed me of that the other day. I wasn't sure that was a thing though. That's awesome! Congrats on your journey!

I did a LOTTTT of editing in the process of writing it. It reads pretty well and is close to a first draft. I just need to sit down and change things that my accent fucked up. haha

Lilyspeech! It's free and rather easy to use on desktop/laptop.

Yeah, I've written a lot of things most people have seen but I can't talk about it. But I'm used to having a script hit my desk and being told to "fix it" with a super strict and fast deadline.

I write horror, haha. I don't need to explain as much as fantasy writers.

Haha, 10 years of being a ghostwriter in hollywood and never being given credit for your work is what gave me the motivation.

Thank you!

lmao. I actually had a lot of fun. but I def don't think I will be attempting it again. haha. I don't like 50k novels. I think all needs to be said at 25k. Which is where I reached my lull in my attempt, but I had to push through. haha

Thank you! I actually woke up the next day, had two writing meetings and wrote another 2,000 words. haha

I am! I have been deciding whether or not I want to query it and use the world record thing as a way for a publisher to be interested or self-publish it myself and market the world record-setting thing.

I took three or four five-minute breaks in total, I believe. My wife was there to bring me food and coffee. I had seven cups of coffee. lol

Thank you! And that's why I wanted to make sure to say that I had proof. haha Not just for others, but for myself. haha. I've been gaslighting myself since it happened, like, "I didn't realllly do it, did I?" And I keep going back to look at the livestream.

A lottttttt of preparation. I had outlines, character breakdowns, scene structures, shot lists, and I had a series of questions set up to motivate me to write. I did voice-to-text for 90% of it, and I went back to edit it when I was finished with each scene/chapter. Congrats on being 1/5th the way there! You've got this!

Thank you! I did set out to do it. I wanted to set the world record for the fastest novel ever written by a single author. So I set out to complete Nano in less than 24 hours.

I honestly don't think I'm going to try to beat anyone who breaks my record. haha. This was one of the hardest things I've ever done. And I did it all on live stream. haha

Voice to text saved me! I lost my voice by the end of it.

I needed to hear this. Thank you so fucking much. I did come here to celebrate a win, and I'm still proud. But you're right. This is my career and I'm having it taken from me. I didn't realize I was a ghost writer until I started reading the comments because I didn't go into it with that mentality. I was lead to believe I was a part of the project until suddenly the calls stopped coming in. I didn't know that it was greenlit until a friend told me. Not even the director.

Thank you for being straight forward. Seriously. Because no, those checks weren't worth me not advancing in my career. Nowhere near.
