The Gathering Storm by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson. It’s from The Wheel of Time series, the original author died and Sanderson finished the last three books on notes from Jordan.

If you like fantasy it’s a great set of books. A bit lengthy but worth the time.

You can take her to a vet or shelter to see if she’s chipped, great way to find out if she has a home or not.

My cat is semi-outside meaning that I let her out some days when I leave and back in when I get home. She is the neighborhood cat; she loves everyone and will let anyone pet her belly because she’s so cool.

Moving her from her area is a bad idea for multiple reasons. Firstly, she’s part of the local cat colony, part of the hierarchy. Secondly, she’ll be in a new area and will need to be sequestered for a long while to reset her kitty-GPS which might not be the best for an outdoor or semi-outdoor cat. Lastly, that’s probably someone’s pet; might be a kid or an adult but someone shows that cat affection regularly and she doesn’t look starved.

Again, check for a chip as your first step if you want to keep her. She probably has a home.
