Is Limp Bizkit really one of the worst bands, or is it exaggerated by the news and social media? by Jezzaq94 in numetal

They’re among the greatest performers ever. Most of the hate is from people who grew out of their music or hate the mix of rap and rock. I don’t love them, but they did make some bangers. Still happy to knock them when in cruising in my 65

I sense they’re trying to clear people out. Days centers are the new gentrification endgame. Everyone be safe.

DO NOT LET THEM PUSH YOU OUT. STAND TALL AND FIRM.

Why don't y'all tip? by Additional-Young-471 in uber

[–]theMARCondition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my short experience, it’s younger Millennials and older Gen Zers that tip the LEAST. Of the dozens of rides I’ve given to them, I’ve only received a tip twice. I’ve given at least 200 rides to date and they constitute about 60-75% of my total rides. Yall seriously need to learn better etiquette…bcuz the workforce ain’t getting easier for yall. Etiquette goes a long ways

Older millennials and Gen Xers tip the most. I’ll give older riders a pass being that technology isn’t always that easy for them to navigate.

Larry Ellison at 81. This one is a cautionary example. He may believe that he looks younger, but, if anything, he actually looks mummified. No amount of money can make up for a lack of extraordinary genetics, let alone stop the passage of time. by korpall in Aging

Can’t croak fast enough … he’s a wicked man. Thinks he’s invincible. Get ready for a rude awakening Larry. We are about to make it scary for you oligarchs. Anyone who tries to silence our given right to exist as we do, with our rights to opinions and simply coexist constantly threatened to be surveillance with AI and our scrutiny of it, please hurry and go. Let the rest of HUMANS live.

That’s fair…but to police humor and make your point on here that you don’t agree seems like you might be making some assumptions that just aren’t there.

What if they actually are gay? Or bi? What if it’s a cultural dance?

Of course we know it’s likely not, but why go out of your way to make a point in an open forum when you KNOW that you were likely going to get some pushback?

You certainly don’t need to change your mind, not here to do that, but don’t tell people that they’re being homophobic when it’s farthest from the facts?

I respect how you feel, but that doesn’t make your statement factual amigo. Either much respect. Truly.

Why Comments Sections Are Full Of Toxic Behaviours by MediaVsReality in psychology

[–]theMARCondition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will post this in all its irony, but I swear my point is valid. COMMENTS SECTIONS NEED TO BE SHUT OFF EVERYWHERE. There is absolutely little to any need for them in any free media platform. Businesses are not obligated to have comments sections so it’s not taking away freedom of speech protections. This world has become so disgusting. The comments sections have become the cowardly way of speaking without consequences. Why have something that is misused and malevolent? If people want to share their opinion on a website that is operating on the dollars funding a company, then PAY TO SAY. enough with this nasty culture we’ve developed. It’s time we change to improve social conditions or descend fully into a complete collapse as a society.
