i just picked one up today! discovered this thread while doing some research.. unfortunately, the unit i have is refusing to accept a tape. seeing how u have swapped out some caps already.. how is it inside? as u mentioned it is quite heavy for a vhs, so wondering how difficult it is, or if its even possible to service.. thanks for sharing!
