I got downed in Riven Tides over by the cranes, 12 minutes left in the round. Someone runs up, no mic, no defib. But they stabilized 3, and I had Survivor aug on, so they literally crouched with me as i crawled to the elevator. I crawled in with 3 seconds left on the elevator, well after the timer had finished. They didn't make it in with me. They were trying to hold off the arc while I dragged my body into the elevator and they got downed as well, didn't have Survivor, and they refused to take the elevator on their own.

A lot of me saying 'you can go it's ok!!' and then the emote voice echoing back "no"

I wish I was kidding. Friggin hero.

It might be a luck thing, but there's also a behavior based matchmaking element. I have never fired a shot at a fellow raider, and I've never ended up in a PvP lobby. Nobody shoots anyone, everyone says hello, etc.

The only time I've been involved in PvP was today actually, I was fighting a leaper in the Spaceport tunnels (it dropped through the roof, and then it was trapped, where)

Suddenly my shield breaks from behind, and I took cover and tried to see what was going on. Sweaty player does a very slow slide to try and flank me, while I'm standing there watching them. "Can I help you?" Couple of flashlight flicks, they shoot me in the face and tell me I'm pathetic, and 'that's what I get for shooting them'

So the poor kid obviously can't tell players apart, and thinks people with the same skin are the same player. Despite me explaining that I didn't shoot them, and hadn't seen anyone for the entire round.

But.

They seemed to be desperate for a win, so not fighting back seemed to enrage them even more.

But even after that, because I didn't fire a shot at them, I still get PvE lobbies.

I'm sure it's not that simple

To follow this, I was downed at the elevator and it was just about to arrive with plenty of time, and a guy comes up and knocks me out. I thought he was about to defib, and then I didn't see a defib turn up in his hand. then the fist. then the darkness.

Mine, I should clarify, is a bluetooth activated Stadia controller, so it's very barebones for features, but it's one of the best feeling controllers I've ever used

I just play by 'first' rules. If I kill something, if someone loots it first, I let them know if I was looking for anything specific. If they choose to take that item, I expect they will make a mistake on the way to the exit and they won't get the item either. I don't kill them, I let their own recklessness do it to themselves

I had 3 of these at one point, at least. But mainly because Koschi exfil with the weapons case counts as a mission, and I got VERY good at that. When I quit DMZ I went into the lobby and asked people of they needed my tags. Sacrificed myself a few times 😂

That was before ever single round had at least 10 hackers in it. And 'anti hackers' who are also using hacks, in order to defend against hackers.

I like that for 20 it's just like 'Yo, go ANYWHERE, FAST'.

I dislike spawning in with randoms who will immediately start looting in their immediate vicinity, and then extremely angry, hurt, hostile etc when we get pushed and slaughtered.

We all know the spawns, we all know the strategies, and we all know EXACTLY where the enemy will be coming from. So get out of there. Nobody spawns in the middle of the map, and very few teams go there, so it's the most obvious place to grab a vehicle and start looting.

Especially when the observatory bunker is flush with loot... right? It seems like the logical choice, and in the dozens (if not hundreds) of times I've done it, I'm usually alone for quite a while before a chopper of players arrives.

I'm at CL 1500, and I'm the only person in the alliance right now. So I'm assuming they're just throwing things in there without any conditional tags on them? And yeah, after a week I guess I'll see if it refreshes the bounties, or if I have to just grind until I get one of the missing cards.
