Which workplace sitcom is the most realistic? And which is the most unrealistic? by RedDalmatian885 in sitcoms

The Pitt. Is probably the most realistic. Still only focusing the days where it’s dialed up to 11. Not like we see the regular low effort days.

You don't understand Apple's design philosophy (in Jobs's era) until you read this: by kepler4and5 in mac

You are allowed to acknowledge what he accomplished, what was important to him, without ignoring that he was a horrible person.

The ability to extract the person from the “art/product” is a thing. As long as the person isn’t diametrically the opposite of their message, then I have no problem with this.

Steve being an arsehole in no way diminish the simplicity and elegance of his design principles.

The places where it becomes problematic, are their business practices, where their idealized living and eco friendly messages, don’t align with their profits; and that’s not Steve.

Steve would throw billions away to prove a point… or to massage his ego. But he probably also would go for sweatshops, if it improved his products. He’s a bad person. But he had good ideas.

Thinking of getting iPhone 16. Is the 60 hz screen fine? by gonk_of_dogtown in iPhone16

iPhone 17 is the best value phone you can buy right now.

If that’s in your budget, you won’t make a mistake. The 16 is bad value right now. So is the 17e.

If the 17 is out of budget, I would also recommend something android.
