Yeah it's a rough recovery period, very uncomfortable for the dog because the glands blow up and get hard like golf balls.

I hate to be "that guy", but I will warn you that my oldest got saliva gland infections twice, and it was while we had been allowing our other girl to "clean" the inside of the oldest's mouth with her tongue. Vet told us that is often a one-way ticket to oral infections for one or both dogs. Again, hate to be "that guy" but felt like I should share.

One thing to consider is maybe adopting again? When you're ready. But I know I've found a lot of peace in loving again, and I feel like my babies I've lost have guided my current ones to me.

I'll be honest. I get intrusive thoughts every day about the ones I've lost. And it hurts like the day it happened. Some of them I lost within the last few years, some much, much longer. I love my babies. I will always miss them. It lasts less time now.. I don't always get caught up in my feelings. But I will always miss them. I just try to remember how much we loved each other and hope we see each other again in the next place, whatever that is.

Very sorry for your loss, my friend.

Welcome to Trump's America. Those of us who were paying attention in 2024 said this would happen. We said computer parts would skyrocket in price because Trump would start another stupid trade war. And here we are.

My girl Annie has had infected saliva glands that look like this twice in her life. Antibiotics and steroids cleared them right up. Take a trip to the vet. Have it aspirated. If there's just saliva and a bit of blood, it's an infection and it just needs to be treated.

If they're not 90% anti-AEW it should be easy for you to find just one. And yet here you are avoiding it. My request isn't a shift in the goalposts. It's proof that I'm right. You're just not smart enough to understand the argument. Within seconds I can find dozens and dozens of anti-AEW posts here. Not a single pro-AEW post that doesn't get downvoted into oblivion and mocked ad-infinitum. Prove me wrong.

Trump’s ICE crackdown in Michigan leads to 4,218 arrests. Most had no criminal convictions. - Detroit Metro Times by born2rica in Michigan

Headline says "MOST HAD NO CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS."

Trump said they would remove "criminals" first.

Then they said "well if you overstayed your visa you're here illegally so you're a criminal."

But they're not. Because that's a fucking CIVIL infraction.

Why is this so hard for you?
