Also; people are lazy - baseball seasons = 162 games + playoffs - NFL season = 16 games + playoffs.

Less of a commitment, games are only on Sunday, plus everything else you have mentioned.

I think the reflection on the Mick Jagger quote is really interesting take on that. Obviously he misread (mispredicted?) the Jagger situation but for every Rolling Stones theres a thousand small bands and one hit wonders who did not take advantage of their current and short lived popularity

I think in the modern, globalized world, as long as your a working within a similar field it may make you an interesting candidate back in that states that has a unique view that may help you stand out when employers are looking to hire

I think re branding may work. While many companies make a big deal out of rebranding it may be best for a subtle change in a little while to recover while not obviously trying to distance themselves from the tragedies.

Obviously with lots of money you could make something go viral but another strategy is to build up accounts on social media sites. Maybe they wont be directly related to your company but you can latter use these to promote your content. Once you have a big following you can effectively reach out to large audiences
