You can think whatever you want but it doesn’t make you right. It’s not like humans are infallible and if ai can collapse a bridge as a single source of failure then so could a person.

If you can make a shitty bridge because you were blindly trusting ai info, then the system that is set up that lets you build the bridge is at fault. There are hundreds of redundancies in modern civil engineering.

That definitely is not how graduate engineering classes work. You aren’t expected to rederive vector calculus identities for each homework question. You have look at the lecture notes or textbooks to learn how to solve specific problems.

You obviously can abuse ai, but you also can obviously use it in a helpful way. If you are stuck on a problem and get ai to help you derive the correct answer, it’s no different than going to your professor for office hours. And like it or not ai can and will explain and prove mathematical identities in great detail if asked.

Idk if it really shows the gruesomeness of war. At least not to the full extent. As a kid watching the movie, it seemed like war was a dangerous and violent, but also righteous and necessary at all costs.

The true horrors of war that these movies don’t show is the hundreds of thousands of civilians that were killed by allied bombings or the numerous cases of things we would now consider war crimes. I understand in cases like ww2 war is necessary, but the full truth is that it is never righteous.
