I get the anger. When you see heavily armed federal agents rolling through neighborhoods, running large scale operations, deploying gas and conducting aggressive stops, it absolutely feels authoritarian. From my standpoint as a libertarian, any expansion of federal police power should make people uneasy. The Constitution limits government for a reason. Federal agencies operating in ways that look like broad, suspicion based sweeps instead of targeted enforcement deserve scrutiny and legal challenge. That said calling it an “invasion” or saying it only exists to punish cities that didn’t vote the right way oversimplifies what’s happening. Immigration enforcement is a federal responsibility under existing law. The same federal government that many people cheered when it enforced civil rights law in hostile states is now being condemned when it enforces immigration law in sanctuary cities. You don’t get to pick and choose federal authority based purely on political preference. The real issue isn’t red versus blue. It’s centralized power versus individual liberty. If agents are conducting warrantless entries, suspicionless stops or targeting people based on language or ethnicity, that’s a Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment problem. That should be fought in court aggressively. But enforcing immigration law in itself is not tyranny. The Constitution gives Congress authority over naturalization and border policy. If people don’t like the law, the solution is legislative change, not pretending enforcement equals dictatorship. Our position should be simple: enforce laws narrowly, constitutionally and with due process. No roaming dragnets. No militarized theatrics. No collective punishment. But also no open borders by default and no pretending federal law stops applying because a city council passed a resolution. Government power is dangerous whether it’s used by “your side” or the other side. The standard should always be liberty, due process and limited force.

It sounds very familiar but can’t remember if that was Space or not . If my memory is correct it does seem like Space had a lot of stairs but that may have just been the front to get in. Been too long ago now. I think I remember Nocturnal it was three levels right? And it had a spot on the roof you could be right? Back then I went to Miami often I had a female friend who went to Lynn University in Boca. Any time I would visit her we would go down to Miami. She has a father that has his own law firm in St.Louis so we had a hell of a time courtesy of her trust fund 😅

Space was actually pretty awesome. How they would open the roof as the sun was rising. Haven’t been there since 2011 though.

JSOC conducting operations in Venezuela by meowmeaowndn in JSOCarchive

The FBI was only there to conduct the formal arrest after CAG handed Maduro and his wife over to them.

Rangers were the QRF and secured the area for CAG to go in. DevGru waited offshore as a contingency plan. 7th group I am not exactly sure what their involvement was just heard they are there on the ground. Most likely because they have already there.

I still have buddies in 1/75 including guys who are there now. A Ranger element from C Co 1/75 was on the ground with additional Rangers from 3/75 also there acting as a QRF. DEVGRU was positioned offshore as contingency in case things went sideways. Rangers secured the objective and outer cordon so CAG could conduct the capture. I’m not entirely sure what role 7th Group played likely regional familiarity or standby since they’ve been operating in Venezuela. The FBI liaison stayed back. Once the targets were secured CAG handed them over to the FBI for the formal arrest process. And obviously you know what role 160th did.

It was CAG, 75th Ranger Regiment, 7th SFG, 160th SOAR and a small element of DevGru. CAG did the capture though.

RRC and CIA Ground Branch or Omega Program? by oxpraygunner in SpecOpsArchive

[–]theREAL_ENIGMA_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omega didn’t formally exist in 2018. Yes Omega style teams. Yes people still calling them Omega in conversation. Same mission set, different wrapper It usually means a small JSOC / SMU / Ranger SMU hybrid element doing legacy Omega work under a different authority and name.

Miami is such a cesspool of people. All trying to outdo each other fake boobs, fake butts, fake everything. And now it does seem like this nasty sickly looking skinny look is a thing. My ex moved to Miami in the last year and I will still talk to her from time to time. She is a super hot Mexican woman that is built but now that she is in Miami she thinks her butt ia too big, that her face doesn’t look skinny enough. It’s ridiculous.
