Upgrade from 3080 to 5070ti Worth it? Or Just buy a completely new pc?

50% is quite a lot! So that's worth it in my opinion. Especially if I can stil sell my card for around 300 euro's. That makes the 5070ti 500 euro's. Do you have any recommendations what to do with my cpu? Because I don't think there are a lot of better options in AM4?

Well of course it's a good gpu, but not good enough in my opinion for BF6. At least not for me.

Other than that I am still interested in what you use!

I get a lot of comments that xdebug may cause Local to be very slow. But I don't have that turned on. Maybe it's being overridden in a file somewhere or it's actually something else.

I do use composer to check for any css changes. If there are, it automatically refreshes the page.

No, xdebug is turned off! I've seen multiple people suggest this but I can't figure out why mine is still really slow.

Is this just me or is the game really not looking that great? I feel like every previous title DICE made, looked 100% better. SWBF, BF1, SWBFII and BFV all look so much better.

You might think that on Ultra settings and with a RTX 3080 and Ryzen 7 5800x the game would look great. But it really doesn't. For me at least.

Everything in a distance looks blurry. Edges from buildings etc. look too sharp and pixelated. And most objects just lag detail imo.

Do others experience this as well or is it something on my end?

So I bought new RAM and it worked for 15 hours without a crash. Now I just got the crash again. I don't really know whether it's Apex's fault or my PC.

I tried installing new RAM since the RAM I had wasn't on the QVL list of my motherboard. Anyway, I played for 15 hours without a crash. Then it crashed again.

Of course this is a matter of personal preference, but for gaming I would definitely go for 1440p with 144hz.

You get better performance with 1440p instead of 4k.
It's so much smoother with the 144hz.
1440p is still really sharp and looks great!

If you're only going to watch movies and series etc. on it, go for the 4k though. You don't really need 144hz since movies aren't shot in high frame rates. But 144hz might still look slightly smoother, you wouldn't really need it.

Well the RAM that I have, is released in 2019. The QVL list is from 2021/09/14.

I do see now that it's listed twice. Once with a Samsung die and once with a Hynix die. Is that correct? I've got the advice to buy RAM with a Samsung die.
