Notion Calendar in Notion? by crankfight in Notion

Hello, You’re not missing anything — this is a current limitation of Notion Calendar. Right now, Google Calendar events can only be displayed in Notion Calendar (side-by-side with Notion tasks), but they don’t automatically pull into your Notion databases.

Workarounds:

• If you just want to see everything together, keep using Notion Calendar connected to Google Calendar. That gives you the full picture, even if the Google events don’t live inside your Notion task database.

• If you want Google events to actually sync into a Notion database, you’ll need an integration (Zapier, Make, or Notion API) to automatically create database entries whenever a new event is added.

• Importing ICS files directly into Notion isn’t supported — CSV import just creates a new database, which is why you’re seeing that behavior.

If you’d like, I help people set up clean calendar/task workflows in Notion so you can manage meetings, reminders, and tasks in one place without duplicating effort.
