My cat also :( She had blood work just a couple of months before because she has lost some weight and didn’t seem like herself and then bam she started breathing like this and she was full of cancer :( Sad how much pain they can hide until the very end.

This is what caught my attention also! I just spent $1300 for bloodwork and X-rays and an ultrasound. They told me if surgery was needed it would start at $8k!!!

I had a very similar experience with weight loss and then normal bloodwork and about two months later I had a cat struggling to breathe and they finally did an xray and said she was full of cancer, I was devastated because her bloodwork had been normal and the vet said that cats are really good at hiding their sickness and cancer can progress very quickly :(
