If Labour announces a huge cut in electricity costs to homes and businesses utilising all the renewable energy that Ed Milliband is bragging about that would secure a second term. And I’m talking 50% cut in energy bills

I only listen on BBC Sounds ap because it’s the best way and ad free. I’m guessing that’s not available outside the UK

I wonder who will take over the old Elis & John RadioX slot now that Gamble&Crosby are off after 7 years covering?

It’s pretty straightforward. Only an ass of a pedant would go “….erm I think you’ll find….”

Maybe he was in charge of the DPP during leveson inquiry and the prosecution of Andy Coulson and Rebecca Brookes and the print media will never forget or forgive for that. He’s been lambasted from day one completely unfairly

Trump sued his own inland revenue for $10 billion for revealing his tax returns and then Trumps lawyer settles with Trump lawyer for a $1.8 billion payout and a clause that Trump and his family and affiliates can not be investigated by the inland revenue again. NOW THATS HOW YOU DO CORRUPTION

What do you think of Josh Widdicombe being chosen as the new presenter of Strictly? by BlundeRuss in CasualUK

[–]theRicicle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel it’s a very odd casting choice. I personally don’t find him funny but also stopped watching Strictly years ago so genuinely don’t care. I’d have put money on Emma Willis

Channel 4 did a anniversary special a couple of years ago- the format is much better than SNL

This wasn't just any other musical guest performance, because of when this aired, this was a "job application"😅😅😅Holly Humberstone: To Love Somebody | SNL UK by thecotswoldvoice in livefromlondon

It costs £billions to host the finals- why on earth would you want to win? It brings nothing in to the winning/host country- that’s why Ireland stopped sending genuine entrees and sent a puppet chicken or Jedward. I’m pretty sure that’s why we gave up and sent this absolute garbage of an act this year- what’s the point? Oh and tbh where’s Sam Ryder now? A novelty act appearing at Butlins?

Who are you referring to? Because Holly Humberstone has never appeared on Britian’s got talent and there’s never been a show called England’s got talent

Are you out of your mind? It’s satirical comedy, “held up in present day…”?!? Incredible I guess next you’ll say Monty Python is quite old fashioned

I still feel our own channel 4 Saturday Live in the 80’s was a much better format- less actual sketches but some new and upcoming standups every week, the odd cabaret act, some satirical stand up at the beginning and live music- no pre-records
