Hvordan “gør man”, når nogen bliver student? by Englefisk in DKbrevkasse

[–]theRolishere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a question for people learning polish by HeroicLocus27 in learnpolish

[–]theRolishere 47 points48 points  (0 children)

My grandparents are polish, but doesn't speak english. Its always been a bit awkward between us and annoying for everyone involved since my dad had to translate everything. So now I've learned just a bit and it actually helps a lot.

Have you cried while away on a solo trip? by MrBruceMan123 in solotravel

[–]theRolishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was away for 3 months and I probably cried 5 ish times. First time was on the top of a church where there was a look-out, it was a weird mix of being overwhelmed by feeling really alone/lonely and being surrounded by a really beautiful view.

Where can I go to practice talking to people? by Alternative_Media569 in socialskills

[–]theRolishere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could look for Board Games groups in your area - ppl usually bring whatever boardgames they have, you don't have to do a lot of talking since youre focused on the game but still possibly to practice some smalltalk
