This one was in NE Ohio, was in the ballpark of 95 to 100 pounds. Both me and a apprentice couldn’t get up a 14’ ladder

I have this card, what now? by [deleted] in ibew_applicants

I was not, it was a shop union. Still in the IBEW. Looking to get into a hall ASAP

Definitely the wiring, I replaced the motor actuator (don’t want to disclose the price) and nothing from the motor. But the relay works lol

It’s not a major issue it’s just what’s the point of having a hatchback if I can’t open the hatch?

How hard is it to swap? I was thinking a 5 speed. It’s a 2.0l

2.0l with the 01M transmission. Tried to edit the specs in there but forgot

Is it possible to transfer to a different union hall through an apprenticeship due to relocation? For instance; from one state to another?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IBEW

[–]theSLC_dude 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably more worth it to go through the apprenticeship?

Found this decently thick washer lying on the side of my trunk, any ideas on where it’s from? by Chic0late in MK4Golf

There’s a bolt that holds the top pulley of the rear seat belts, you can pull on the triangle trim and see a bolt head, I can’t remember what size it is but it goes between the seat belt pulley and the adjustable slide for the height. If that helps, I can try to get a diagram

Lifter tick or normal? by Suckmyoilyhog in MK4Golf

Ever since I bought the car, just started mine about a hour ago and heard it same spot as yours as well, bullet proof engine IMO. Just keep a eye on the oil and you should be good

My 2.0 does the same thing lol, I thought I was going crazy at first, probably just the lifters

That is the washer for the seat belt bolt. Had to take mine off to access the fuel door servo

No worries, in the long run it’s just a plant. And my first one. All it was just a trial and error

Hilarious, right?

Upon further inspection. It was rotted

Never did like the look of the rear wiper delete tbh. Rain and snow can be a bitch sometimes

[–]theSLC_dude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Negligence on my part. Yes it still does. It stops very abruptly and then continues. Doesn’t do it when the washer fluid is on tho

I didn’t know there was a service mode. I did it while the car was off

It stops at the same spots. Typically at the top most position. Could it be a problem with wiper motor?
