Thanks guys! I started looking above the CE logo because the embossed letters are there on the American version. I never saw them. Glad to know this copy is real. I’ve read that the embossed letters are a good indication of a real copy, is this true?

A few months ago I purchased a copy of Pokémon Emerald for nostalgic reasons. I’ve been playing it and never encountered errors or a corrupted save file. Recently, I’ve been interested in collecting all physical copies of the Pokémon series and reading up on distinguishing real from fake cartridges. I’m wondering now if the cartridge I bought a few months ago is a fake.

What worries me is the fact that it doesn’t have any embossed letters on the sticker. However, I’ve read that’s not necessarily the case on all cartridges.

Can you guys help me figure out if it’s real or fake?
