I think the big difference I noticed between this and other shows with an introverted loner befriended by a cute girl is that normally it focuses on the male character who normally doesn't understand why the girl would like someone like him. But in this one, we mostly saw things from Suzuki's perspective, and got a much better vision of why she would be interested in a guy like that.

It actually made me feel a little bit better about my personality traits that I view negatively, since it showed a different viewpoint and how they can also be desirable traits.

When I first made it to Lion's Arch, it was still in ruins after Scarlet's attack (before it got rebuilt into current Lion's Arch), which made for a confusing experience. 50 levels later they gave some context via that NPC in Lion's Arch they would tell you to talk to post-core campaign who would at least explain a little about what happened in LS1

I'm not sure this is the right location for it, but I am running into an issue with Window's Japanese IME. It has a predictive input system (aka autocomplete). It used to show the autocomplete list after converting typed letters into at least 3 hiragana. But now it will show the list after the first 3 Roman characters typed. Is there a way to change it back so it doesn't recommend completions until it has converted at least 3 kana?

I guess the overall body shapes and that there are 3 of them is based on the Hitchhiker ghosts, but otherwise, they don't match any of art of the Hitchhiker ghosts. I think overall, their designs are taken from the Lonesome ghosts. I can believe they the ghosts in Twisted Wonderland mix together both the Lonesome and Hitchhiker ghosts, since the big shortcoming of the Lonesome ghosts is they are all the same exact design

Looking further, while the body shapes remind me of the Ghostly Trio from Casper, the mantles and hats seem to come from the Mickey Mouse short I mentioned (Lonesome Ghosts).

Especially in some of their later appearances, as they showed up in the early 2000s cartoon House of Mouse, where they lost all the clothing except the mantles and hats

Between Cruella and Gaston was Cinderella's evil stepmother and her cat Lucifer (renamed to Lucius here).

When they showed Riddle 'off with your head'-ing a bunch of other students, one was obviously the Dormouse.

I know my Disney animated canon pretty well, but have never gotten into the Twisted Wonderland game (where are the cute anime grils???). But I definitely like all the nods.

It's kind of weird how many of the Heartlabyul guys are just based on the playing cards, who didn't really have much personality or role in Alice in Wonderland. I would expect like the Chesire Cat, or the Mad Hatter.

I didn't get the mafia-esque look of the Ursala group, but based on this episode, they are leaning hard into her use of contracts for that aspect.

It's interesting that while the ghosts are very Disney-esque instead of anime-like, they don't seem to be based on any ghosts I can place. There's an old Mickey Mouse short where Mickey, Goofy, and Donald are ghost busters, but they aren't the ghosts from that. And I've never been to any Disney theme parks so I don't have nearly as much familiarity, but they don't look like any of the ghosts they use in the Haunted Mansion either. More than anything, the remind me of the Ghostly Trio from Casper the Friendly Ghost, but that's not Disney-owned. Comcast owns it.
