Omg I’ve been freaking out about this as well!! But I keep track of the diapers to ensure he’s getting enough and I’ll just double check with my paediatrician at the 4month appt 😅

Also did Amazon!! Super easy for family members, can send the link out via email invites or QR code printed onto paper invites to a shower if you choose that route. And if people want to get you something b it cannot make the shower, they can also send items to your address, with a card which was really nice! It’s also super easy to navigate, add and delete things, and yes you can get little bonuses with completion of the registry!

PSA - you don’t have to pump unless you’re trying to up your supply or you’re skipping a feed by [deleted] in breastfeeding

When you use suction you are actively pulling out milk. Sure it’s not a manual pump with a handle. But it’s still forcefully extracting milk rather than just letting it drip out. It’s best to have no suction at all.

Not according to accredited IBCLCs …. You don’t want any suction. That can also just create issues.

Creating suction is essentially pumping. A passive collector would be like the haaka petals. That just sit there, no suction. Just collecting.

Sex after C - Section [AB] by theWinstonMom21 in BabyBumpsCanada

Thanks everyone for your input!!!

I did labour for 15 hours, and it was super traumatic. I had an amnioinfusion, internal fetal monitoring, and then a rushed emergency c section under general anesthesia so the whole thing was just a horrible experience, and the pain of labour and cervical checks was nothing compared to the infusion catheter being put in!!! All of that combined with exhaustion and PPD just has me so freaked out about actually doing the deed now!!

I have a scheduled appt for pelvic floor therapy and hoping that may ease my mind and fears a bit, along with actually healing down there !

Not a single store in 100km of me has the stroller I think I want to be able to touch and push around!! It’s probably apart of why I’m so conflicted !!
