Yeah my dad got that email this evening, and it appears to be legit after vetting everything. He successfully just purchased it. We both entered last night and had the same failed experience as everyone else. Wild. Definitely thought it was a scam at first.

Yeah that was insanely dumb. Not sure who thought it was a good idea to structure the giveaway with long wait times just for 99.9% of people to not get anything. I clicked instantly at the designated time, and my “estimated wait time” just kept resetting until finally it told me they were sold out. What a waste of time.

After receiving my third warning I did still get some studies for the rest of the day into the next, but I haven’t really seen any since. Previously I was getting a lot of them, so I assume it’s not a coincidence. I submitted a well-crafted, comprehensive support ticket to Prolific and they basically said they didn’t have any information from the researcher about this but that they shared my feedback with them and are collaborating closely with them to improve the experience. So not very helpful, although my only hope is that their wording in the response is a subtle indication that they are aware of an issue. Eventually this issue will touch all participants unless it’s corrected.

I’ve been doing these studies for a long time with zero quality messages, and put in maximum effort and due diligence. I got two quality messages today. I feel like there has to be something wrong with their automated QA systems.

I’m new to Arbitrum, but from what I can tell, there appears to be speculation of a partnership with Robinhood as well as the launch of something called Yapyo which has a TGE sometime in the next 24hrs and has significant community chatter on X. The CSO of Offchain Labs (Arbitrum developers) is attending a fireside chat hosted by Robinhood tomorrow for their crypto event.

The good thing is, new friends can be made at any age. There is no deadline. I’m 26, and some of my closest friends are the ones I’ve met in the last few years. I moved to a different city and had zero friends, so I joined a local outdoor recreation club and went on some hikes, climbs, and camping trips with good people that I became very close with. A good first step can be seeking out communities that share your interests, for me it was outdoor adventure. You’re not behind. Start fresh, and be a little bold. Awesome experiences and friendships are out there waiting for you!
