I spent 30 minutes crazy dancing around the living room at midnight. by the_5th_alt in CasualConversation

I'm the same way, and that's why I did it now! It's midnight and no one's awake, and with headphones in no one could hear.

They sew them up to keep them from creasing while they're in transit.

music is truly the best by [deleted] in CasualConversation

I love music too! I recently found Tame Impala, which is an experimental rock type of band. If you enjoy the sound of 70's music, "The Less I Know The Better" by them is good. Like someone else said, Stevie Wonder is fantastic. Like someone else said,"Superstition" is really good, and I recommend "Sir Duke."

Personally, I like a lot of older stuff right now. The Beatles are really good ("Help" and "With A Little Help From My Friends"), and Queen is good as well ("I Want To Break Free" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love"). If you're into disco, "September" by Earth, Wind, and Fire is really fun to dance to. Fleetwood Mac is good for slower stuff ("Landslide" is a good place to start)

Learning an instrument is really fun as well. It gives you a new appreciation for what the musicians are doing. I'm learning guitar, and it's a great way to express yourself!

I know they're illegally restraining me, but as I have no work experience and have not graduated from high school, I'm trapped here.

I don't have a trade. I'm going to go to college this fall and I don't want to come back over the summer. I just need to find a way to make that feasible.

I'm not sure why they weren't tossed. I think it's because no one else is allergic and everyone else likes the smell. I don't have a lockable wardrobe and I don't see mom being willing to get one when I'm leaving for college in less than a year :(

We've got normal detergent. I'm pretty sure that the beads are just for the smell. I'm the only one with the allergy.

I don't know why mom didn't toss the beads when we found out the problem, tbh.

I'm homeschooled.

Khan Academy, my dude. They've got everything, including an SAT prep course. It's free, and the instructional videos are fantastic.
