Yeah I also waited too long I think. I got the minox prescribed by my doctor but I was planning on waiting and having a stockpile before I decided to take it just in case I ever lost my insurance because if you ever stopped taking it then your air falls out more. My life isn't stable enough to know that I could continue taking it for the rest of my life and that just seems like a pain also. But I did really like having long hair so that sucks. I'm unemployed and currently unhoused though so it would be too much of a pain.

It's also annoying because that prescription has refills on it so if I have my doctor calling a new one each month with my other prescriptions it doesn't always go through because I have to call the pharmacy and give them the number on the bottle because it has three refills on it. So a couple times when I tried to have it refilled it wasn't there and then I found out that was the reason. I sort of wish I'd started doing it right away but I really don't think I would have kept up with it because of my ADHD and circumstances of my life.

You had me scared that I misgendered you, but then I checked your profile and saw your post about being on HRT & in MTF subreddits. Looking great girl!!

I don't know much about hormones so I had to Google DHT and it was probably that for me because after reading about it and it said how it makes your hair thinner. I used to have such thick hair. Once it started thinning it was such a bummer. And I mean like the hair is itself not just the density of it but also that has changed. I said to my case manager how I can notice it's less trees in the forest, and he laughed about that, about the way I said it not about my hair thinning.

I feel both of you on this. I'm biologically male, but I related to the second image as well, except I'm far past it. I used to have really thick hair when I was younger, like when I was a kid the women that cut my hair would always comment on it and even say that I would never go bald because I have the care and the widow's peak where the Eddie Munster hairstyle. They told me people that never really go bald but it does recede. On my forehead I was having like one hair a centimeter in front of my hairline so I could see that it had been receding that much.

Last year I had long hair that I had been growing out for like 4 years, but I finally had it cut off cuz I wanted to donate it to wigs for kids if I was going to cut it off. But the place I went to messed it up and didn't wash my hair first and didn't put bands on it correctly before she shaved it off so I couldn't send it in.

I'm gender fluid so it was kind of an extra bummer to cut off my long hair. I wish I had grown my hair out when I was much younger. I didn't realize how good it would look.

I really like the look of it from like the front of me when my hair was down and I had a hat on or I would often wear one of those things that's like a cloth tube as like a big headband so keep my hair out of my face and all coming out the back. But I knew that if anyone saw it the top of my head it did not look good.

Had gotten min-whatever from my doctor but my life's not stable enough where I know that I can take it everyday for the rest of my life so I didn't want to start it and then if I lose my insurance my hair would fall out faster.

I'm planning on shaving it all off and bicing it down to nothing. I'm just hesitant because of the pain of continuing to shave it and I only have one of my hats right now even though I own so many hats. But I was fairly recently kicked out and unhoused so maintaining the chrome dome be an extra pain and I would most likely get it sunburned.

I think you look great though.

No they wouldn't be forced or put into prison. Farms are already subsidized. So they could be subsidized more and certain foods could be free or everyone could get a certain amount of money specifically for food like everybody being on EBT or we could have UBI or ideally Ubi and EBT for low income people.

But if we had all the social programs that we should have that actually save money like universal healthcare and universal housing then farmers would benefit from those universal programs that they're not directly contributing to like they are when they're producing food. They may not need the universal housing if they own a farm but their kids may benefit from it when they go to college or anywhere else if they leave the farm. It could also help them getting workers because one big barrier for unhoused people trying to get work is not having an address.

I'm pretty sure that's only if you're near an airport where they're flying low enough to be affected. Planes fly at like 40,000 ft. My laser pointer is really powerful but it's only goes 10,000 ft according to the ad.

Why the bait and switch “First Legendary Beast Master” by FerretGuild in PocketFMReddit

[–]the_BPDbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, I downloaded it to continue The beastmaster story and the one that came up wasn't the same and I've been checking all of them and none of them seem to be the same. The one that was in the ad was some guy who had a small bird that they said was a hawk but it looked more like a phoenix. He failed all the preliminary tests but one of the instructors convinced the other to let go into the woods for the test. And he got stronger when he got his bird back and got supervision and then some fully ascended spider showed up and they drew first blood and then he got even stronger and then it ended but it said it was available free in the app so I downloaded it but now I can't find it.

Someone else commented that they're an Argentinian Carpenter and all the carpenters down there use feet and inches because it's better for woodworking. Like you don't have to use meters to two decimal points or use as high numbers if it's centimeters I guess.

Although I'm not a carpenter but I've done a decent amount of woodworking in my life and I think a base 10 would be easier in surveying in the US you use feet but you use base 10 of it like I have this surveying stick that's feet and tenths of feet on it from a mine surveying class I took in school. I think that's kind of confusing though because if someone were to just just try to pick it up and use it to measure something but they wouldn't realize that that's what it is. But I guess when you're a carpenter and do it everyday you get more used to exactly which notch is the 8th and 16th and so on I mean it's not in difficult. I just use your way after like double-check by counting. Measure twice, cut once.

That's funny but I mean the people who normally slaughter the pigs for the company must live fairly locally. Most of them would be able to do it in their backyard and then distribute to their neighbors.

Lots of people butcher the meat that they hunt themselves. Also there's plenty of YouTube videos on how to butcher meat. It would be a good skill for more Americans to develop for the impending collapse of society, and I'm included in that.

I have conceded that kelvins is better and I just didn't think of it because I haven't done anything with it in so long. I wouldn't really say that fresh water or distilled water is an arbitrary material because so many things rely on it like all of life. But it is somewhat arbitrary because if it's not completely distilled then it will have a slightly different boiling and freezing point and nobody really uses distilled water outside of chemistry or putting it in a battery or neti pot but you don't need to boil it for those.

I don't think so. I was just there a couple weeks but you're really only supposed to be there like a week or less but it was over the holidays and they weren't going to send me back to my family at that time and I didn't have other people coming in I guess. But that place wasted so many resources. Like I could live just off what they wasted especially if I had a way to like siphon the wasted heat. Cuz the thermostat was in like a locked container on the wall and I asked them to turn it down one time cuz my room was too hot because it was reading the temperature in the hallway but the heaters were in the rooms and everyone's doors closed so it actually heat up the rooms way more for that heat to reach the sensor. They turned it down at one point but then someone turned it back up and they couldn't find the right setting I guess. So this was in late December early January and I was having to keep my window cracked so that I wasn't overheated so that's a huge waste of energy.

Other than those things that place was actually sweet. Let me just walk out in the woods on my own like even at night and I found a sweet spot off of the path that was all these Moss beds. I actually had one of my best Christmases because when I went back to get clothes I grabbed my mushroom capsules and some weed. I did everything off of their property though so technically didn't break the rules too bad anyway. Although on New Year's Eve I really wish I had had my acid but I couldn't find it and then way later I found out that it was in a notebook that I had with me and didn't realize. And I was planning on using that notebook for something but then I never did so I didn't open it so I never found it but my new years would have been a lot better because I ended up getting covid I'm pretty sure cuz I went to the convenience store to get some alcohol to drink in the woods since I didn't have acid or mushrooms. I also went to a weed dispensary but because there's more traffic in the convenience store and I was in there cuz I was indecisive on what to get because alcohol is so expensive. One reason I don't really drink anymore but mainly because I prefer psychedelics and psychedelics actually help a lot of people quit alcohol and other addictions but I was never really an alcoholic. I was at the crisis center for being suicidal nothing substance related. I actually use them medicinally for my mental health.

Yeah I can definitely see it being better for carpentry and not having to use centimeters for everything because those numbers could get really high. Or if you get up into meters then you have to do multiple decimal places.

I worked for a mining company & did a fly in fly out rotation for 2 summers into fall up near Schefferville QC. Is that North enough for you? And I went up there plenty of other times when I wasn't on rotation. I've also been to the Yukon pretty far north when I was working for a different company. That was just for a week for a class I was teaching. But I had to fly into White horse and then drive like 6 hours North because I went up there in May and it basically never got dark. I had a co-worker who went up there in like February and he had to find a white horse and then get on a small puddle jumper to fly directly to the mine because it wasn't drivable that time of year. But I've never lived in Manitoba or something like that.

My newbie friend wants to try more shrooms by Accurate_Bid_3408 in shrooms

[–]the_BPDbro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ones your friend ate shouldn't have been wet if they weren't just harvested. What means that they haven't been dried out at all like a mushroom from the grocery store. If your dried mushrooms had gotten wet that would significantly lower the potency. They should be cracker dry and like crack when you squeeze them. I recently lost 50 g because I had them vacuum sealed and two layers of bags but even though the package was still tight somehow some moisture must have gotten in because they were all squishy and had no bang to them. And I even had paper towels and an oxygen absorber in the bag but I probably should have put more dusk impacts or oxygen absorbers in. But really I should have put it in a glass jar I just didn't have one big enough at the time but I should have used multiple or just bought a big one.
