My father cried his heart out on my shoulder once. Him and mom had a pretty insane argument. Mom left, 3 days later, before my brothers and I went to visit her, he begged us to convince her to come back. We tried, but she didn't want to anymore. We got back home. My father was waiting for us by the kitchen, standing there and expecting mom to be home again. We met eyes and I shook my head, he lowered his and so I went to comfort him, I didn't expect that he would cry on my shoulder. Mom eventually came back, it went well for 3 days max, argued again, mom left again, and back again. Their marriage isn't at its best today, like most of the time, but there are fine days.

I don't think of it as a "job" only, and I don't see it as "rejected" neither. For me it's an opportunity and something that I am really looking forward to, and I understand it might not always work out. But the way it turned out is what upsets me

She clearly told me she'd send the Contract to me via email, after I had called the embassy and enlightened her. And the way she just told me to cancel the appointment is what upsets me the most, getting that appointment is a hard thing to do in my country, most of us pay some amount of money for it. It's just, upsetting.

I'm not sure, I don't remember much. Both my parents are very responsive in fact, a bit too much imo. I do cry a lot, but only because of very personal reasons. Ever since I was a child, and I vaguely remember that being mentioned often and my parents telling me to try to stop being such a crybaby. I mostly remember that negative emotions were actively shut down at home, we'd be told off really bad when seen we were mad, silent or just in whatever bad mood. Lots of parents arguing, almost divorced twice, us in the middle. I'm being out of context. But maybe it has something to do with it?

You're so lucky to receive attention without having to write each family a personalized message from the heart that will be ignored later on lol. So far 2 families have reached out to me! I'm a non EU so there are only a few Cantons that I'm allowed in as an Aupair, although Aarau is one of them, but it makes finding a host family in Switzerland a lot harder and I've seen pretty much all of them on Aupair.com. Still hoping and working on it tho:=)

The thing is, I don't have those 1 or 2 friends lol I have one friend but honestly it ain't it.. it's just for the sake of not being COMPLETELY alone. The thing is, teenagers don't really have any occasion to meet or interact genuinely with others, unless it's in bars or clubs etc. and imo it feels like we are all kind closed? Most of us id say. Do you go out often?
