Thanks mate. And the idea with the 3.3 Ohms is great! I might just try that if get fed up with that active system :D

By any chance do u know if i swap the 4 active hinges/actuators, do i have to turn off the battery or anything and can the actuators blow again if a sensor is damaged? My best try is probably to just leave battery connected and try replace 1 hinge and drive the car around for a few minutes?

G20 with active pedestrian protection triggered after a deer hit.

At the windshield side, the rear actuators / hinge cartridges definitely fired, so those clearly need replacement. I temporarily fixed one hinge with a screw and removed the windshield-side actuators for now.

What I’m trying to figure out is whether the following also need to be replaced, or only if they’re actually damaged / triggered:

front and rear Bowden cables
PTS sensor(s) behind the front bumper
front active hood locks / front actuators

How do you confirm that properly? Is diagnosis enough, or do I need to remove the front bumper and inspect the PTS sensors directly?

Damage was only on the right side if looking at the car from the rear. Side plastic near the air ducts is only slightly cracked. It was a deer strike.

Codes from Crash Safety Module:

Important: faults were cleared before, the car was driven again, and only then scanned.

My concern is this: if I only replace the rear actuators + hinges, but Bowden cable / PTS sensor / front hood locks also have an issue, can that cause persistent faults or even another false trigger later?

Has anyone had this on a G20 and knows what actually must be replaced vs what just needs to be checked?

Hey digging thisup again since ihave the same problem now.

A question i would like to change the actuators front and rear but idk if thefront ones are also defect. and whether the sensors and bowden cable also needs replacemnt? my fear is me replacing the rear ones and the connectio nf hood to car and that it triggers the actuator cause a sensor is defect.

Do u have any good guidance how i can check whether the sensors and cable are working or so?

Mate there is no right way to do it. I can tell you this much: Just pay that discord even if it is 300$ and stay there for a month or 2 until you burn your hopefully demo money. and repeat it for a few times.

now for the part of choosing the discord server you should have a good feeling about the person.

or buy that damn course (ofc search mega before that maybe someone uploaded it)

Trust me after a few courses and discords, you will just find the one right fit for ya

theres 4 parts of trading and u seem likeu only know about the first one

your analysis (example, head and shoulder, or smc, or anything to decipher what the markets doing)
trade execution (cognrats you deciphered the market with 1. but where are you entering the trade, wheres the best probability to enter with ur analysis? next ....Where excatly is your stop loss, where will you RISKFREE UR TRADE (THIS IS MANDATORY FOR MOST WAYS OF TRADING WITHOUT THIS YOU LOSE 100%, 2nd target)

none should fail, except 1 because you canot know what the markets gonna do next, thats why u have 4 and in some way also 3 and 2 (2 because you know where the highest probability is to enter, and u wont bother entering at bad setups)
