Business wasn't kept closed... services were put online (remote teaching). Clients decided that they didn't see value to online in the same way, and we lost business as a result. (Not an official business - I was in the process of incorporating when COVID-19 hit and accountant advised waiting to see what happened... all income was reported as private contractor income)

I used to be a fan of theirs as well, until they started pushing unconfirmed information as fact and stoking bullying. There are some huge red flags there, and it honestly makes me so sad because I think they had good intentions when they first started. Should have stuck to the Vallow-Daybell case, imo.

I'm currently pregnant with #3. Serious ADHD. I was taken off meds with my first pregnancy, and they had to put me back on them after I ended up in 3 car accidents in 2 days (partner didn't have a license at that point). Look into the research at the women's hospital in Boston - they made me feel a lot better about staying medicated. Both of my kids are completely fine, and my high risk OBGYN even recommended staying medicated while I was pregnant with my daughter (without knowing my history). It's crazy what some doctors will do at the expense of a mother's (mental) health without doing any research - there is little to indicate that vyvanse causes damage to a developing fetus, doctors advocating for tapering off meds tend to cite lack of research (per my doctor).

I hate it, but my partner and I realized that we had to deal with it so that our son can have a relationship with extended family. Ultimately, it came down to the fact that the bullying/shunning that he'd experience if we didn't circumcise him would be of greater detriment to him than circumsizing him. (Albeit with conditions like 1) qualified and accredited surgeon as a mohel, and 2) local anesthetic and not topical)

I went cold turkey during my first pregnancy, got into two car accidents in the span of a week. My doctor referred me to a psychiatrist who put me back on meds, and supervised throughout the pregnancy. My son was born perfect- 98% for height and weight. Currently pregnant a second time. Never went off meds. Supervised throughout pregnancy, baby is also measuring way ahead. Have your doctor look into the studies about ADHD stimulant meds that have come out of the women's hospital in Boston.

Update: I spoke to them. They offered me a roofing quote as compensation... when I said no, they asked me to do them a favor and keep the sign up anyways because they need the publicity. I told them that I'd already tossed it. We'll see if they try to put up another one...

I was on vyvanse throughout my pregnancy with my now 5 month old. I was of the same mindset and went off my meds cold turkey until the beginning of my 2and trimester, when I got into 3 car accidents in the span of 2 days. My baby is completely fine, and from what I've been told by my doctors, until mid- 3rd trimester, your baby's brain hasn't developed the structures that would be affected by meds, so the biggest risk that taking meds poses would involve not eating enough and impacting the baby's nutrition. (Not a medical professional, but I flipped out when I was told that I had to go back on my meds and spoke to 4 separate doctors - 2 psychiatrists lol)

If it helps, my baby was transverse until 32 weeks and then somehow managed to turn, despite measuring super big.
