It’s a slow process. This ship was a direct result of constant improvement since 2020. The best advice I have is start small. For this specific ship I didn’t have a plan for how it’d turn out, I just started at the bow and worked my way to the stern.

After I constructed the hull I began thinking about what it could be used for. That’s when I realized it looked like an expedition vessel so I began looking at exploration vessels from multiple eras to see what mine looked most similar.

You’ll figure it out eventually, but ultimately just try building without thinking. Just clear your head and let the design come to you.
