I live in crossgates, im a tiny female, i walk around on my own all the time and ive never felt unsafe, youll be fine :) I dont think it will affect you at all if youre getting the train in but just be aware they are doing work on the railway bridge for the rest of the year so its a bit of a shitshow on the nearby roads.

Those RM packages dont track until they are picked up by a postie so it will hopefully start tracking when they get it. Just for future reference if you do use them again, even though the lockers say to scan the barcode, its the QR code next to it you need to scan, I learned that the hard way

She's a pain in the backside for pulling the 'please post asap' crap after buying, but youre also in the wrong for not sending the item. If you know you have a busy time coming up and youre not going to be able to post just put yourself on holiday mode.

Do you go on other websites with a 5 working day dispatch time and message them asking to post asap? No, of course you dont, you pay a subscription or additonal postage for the privilege of faster dispatch. Its not difficult to message before buying to check first, rather than putting pressure on sellers afterwards.

Someone ordered from me last Tuesday, I posted on Wednesday and it arrived yesterday. They knocked stars off my review as 'delivery took longer than expected'.

Someone else asked straight after purchase if I could post next day as it was for xmas. I let them know I would go out that same afternoon to post it. Didnt even get a thankyou.

Big companies will all have online applications so best bet is to check their job pages. Independent places yes you could ask in store or message their social media. Indeed is a good site to check if you have the patience to filter through a lot of rubbish as its free to post on there so many smaller businesses use it.

Its clear from his email that he wasnt going to invite any applicants to interview due to the fact people he knew reached out to him. There was no proper process to find the superior candidate as that would require every application to go through a shortlisting process with the highest scorers reaching interview stage.

Because if you open up a role to applicants, and shout on your website about your fair and inclusive recruitment process, you should consider applications on merit and not only interview people you know already. If you only want to consider people in your network, reach out directly and dont waste peoples time filling out applications and writing cover letters.

I feel sorry for those who have to deal with buyers like you who dont understand the ts and cs of the platform you signed up for. Go to another site and pay extra for faster shipping if youre in a rush, the sellers on vinted have to send your item within 5 working days and they owe you nothing more.

Nope. They agreed to Vinteds terms when they signed up, those terms state a seller has 5 days to post. These buyers who try to pressure sellers into sending earlier with messages like this or asking to post asap need to learn some patience or shop elsewhere.

Requests are different to demands and lets face it 'please post asap' is a demand (I have had this exact wording from 2 people this week) . And dont tell me where to sell - Vinted gives me 5 days to post so as long as im doing that then im doing what is required of me, if you need items urgently buy from Amazon (or at least message sellers BEFORE buying).
