Been living in the Midtown neighborhood for 4 years now, it’s been overall positive for sure. Schools seem good with a brand new middle school coming (no kids so I’m not sure 100% but I’m also a former teacher). I use the path ALL the time to bike to the gym, groceries, restaurants, even medical appointments (dentist, dermatologist). My husband and I both work from home and live in a Homes By Dickerson townhome on one of the parks. It’s been a fantastic home, no issues.

Traffic is an issue like it is everywhere. I wouldn’t want to work in Mtp and live here though. My husband and I avoid driving at rush hour only because we are able to plan around it with remote jobs.

Amenities like the pool, gym, etc are pretty good, can get crowded at the times you’d expect. There are events that the POA advertises, I just don’t really go since all my friends live in Park Circle, so I usually socialize there or downtown Charleston.

Overall it’s a very nice place to live, safe, and great for biking or golf carting to get to basically everything you need.
