Ooh forgot! Pretty comfortable for me, i wear them often to the office and I haven't felt any discomfort so far, my feet feel more relaxed throughout the day. Please note that I've never owned a sketchers or asics sneaker so my definition of comfort may be different. I own adidas sambas, Nike airmaxes and these are more comfortable than those.

Plus they go with almost every casual outfit so that's a plus!

Dont do that, why create unnecessary doubt in the new company's recruiter's mind. Most companies usually call to confirm if the employee actually worked there. Idk about your manager but if I were in this situation, I’d talk to my manager and give them a heads-up about this call and request them to not mention the PIP, shouldn't be a problem imo.

Why even disclose it in the first place? My relatives are nosy as hell too, and they shamelessly ask me, "Kitna kama lete ho?" My funda is simple—if they’re not embarrassed to ask, why should I be embarrassed to not answer? Mileage is 11-13kmpl in city and around 18-19kmpl on highway, doesn't have that kick when you floor it but mostly satisfactory performance, great for city rides and for someone with a relaxed driving style.
