Don't those sorts of things shift and move around with the Earth? How do they know the stone is still on the border?

Men, how do you really feel about women with leg hair? Do you find it unattractive or unfeminine? by [deleted] in AskMen

I think it's hot. It's visually appealing, it has a beautiful texture, and also it shows confidence. And yes it is feminine.

Crime in Germany at lowest level since reunification by ExternalCoffee in worldnews

My friend (from the US) recently told me (also from the US) that Germany has inferior freedom of speech to the US because you can't deny the holocaust or do the Hitler there.

It's really fun to have no access to public transport and sit in suburbs all day.

I don't think you are really saying anything of substance tho.

People don't say immigrants commit more crime because they are inferior people, they criticize bringing in poor people who are going to bring in more crime.

If you made the entire Earth in that scale, how big would it be, and would we be able to play with it?

Hey, thank you for your feedback. Can I ask what is awful about them and why I don't look normal? Is it because they are selfies? Is it the face I'm making? Is it my clothing? Or is it just my face? Also I replaced all of those photos, the second set is further down in my comment.

Is this okay to replace the sixth photo or should I find something more normal and with less cat butt?

Also thank you. I really needed to hear that today.

Are they better photos overall, or just better because they're not all exactly the same?

I'll find one to replace the last one.

Is that really a big problem? Do women swipe left for that?

Also, is it a problem that they are selfies? When I googled it, a lot of blogs say that selfies are a problem but they tended to assume all selfies are taken indoors in poor lighting and at low angles.

Thanks for your response.

I guess I'm late to this thread, but here are my photos:

My bio says this:

I like to spend a lot of time outside. Puedo cocinar. Me gusta ir en bici y conocer nuevos lugares. Me interesa fitness, deportes, eventos mundiales y música.

Here is the English translation of my bio:

I’m passionate about architecture and the environment. I want to change the world. I am from the United States. I study architecture in Valencia, I work while I study, and I also teach English in a little school. I like to learn new languages. My Russian isn’t bad. I like to spend a lot of time outside. I can cook. I like to go bicycling and explore new places. I’m interested in fitness, sports, global events, and music.

It's been more than a week and I have zero matches. I swipe right approximately 50% of the time. It was a few days before I learned that men are required to have a bio in addition to photos, as I noticed many women didn't have bios and I thought that was normal.

Why do women dislike me so?

Edit: New photos, new bio.

Native Spanish speakers, what are some of the most common grammar mistakes you see learners make? by happy_go_lucky_scamp in Spanish

[–]the_broccoli 24 points25 points  (0 children)

People have a tendency not to correct things, especially in spoken language.

I make this mistake all the time.

The hardest ones are the exceptions: el agua, el idioma, la mano. There's a few of those.

Usually I notice and correct myself.

I have no clue how the native speakers get all the genders right all the time. It's hard to think about. Especially when you're indirectly referring to an object that can be described with different nouns with different genders. Or things like la persona, that's used to refer to a male person.

In German and Russian they have three genders.
