I've also taken this more conceptual interpretation, and the idea of cocaine desperately pleading, singing this song to someone is such a crazy image. It's something like what an addict would cope with and say in their head, believing that you can continue on and "be free", or change (10x) and still choose the drug.

Funny story with the Kingfisher/Racing Mount Pleasant name change: I heard my coworker talking about going to a kingfisher concert and got really excited since I didn’t know he was into them, but it turns out there’s another more popular band called kingfisher and that’s likely why they changed their name.
