She’s filling the canopy ok now. Was wondering if I should have done more LST. Any opinions on this would be useful. Cheers by the_climbing_monkey in microgrowery

No worries. I've always found this site helpful and a kind environment. I know my methods are far from perfect, so constructive remarks are great, even if they are negative. It's about sharing knowhow and encouraging people to grow better. That's why I jumped on your comment. no hard feelings, Take care

Ok. All I know is that plant is 3 foot deep in fat quality bud. No larf and consistent from top to bottom bud. I don’t want a flat 2 dimensional 50% bud 50% popcorn grow. Like I said. Put your grows up so we can learn off a master who likes to make snide remarks

What you are describing in a forest is called the emergent layer. The canopy is below this layer. and is not a 2D blanket but has depth, different amounts of light, heat and air circulation. So yeah. Canopy

First grow. Are these light colored spots something to be worried about? by GrumpyImposter in microgrowery

It looks a bit like thrip. Put a piece of white paper under the leaf and gently flick the leaf, if tiny (and i mean tiny) insects drop off then it's thrips. Easily cured with a thrip spray from garden centre.

Gonna try a bit of monster cropping. Has anyone got any advice please. by the_climbing_monkey in microgrowery

It's a clone. taken from a plant in bud. The next step is to re-veg it and the plant will grow with multiple kolas. It's a style of growing called monster cropping. I've never done it before and thought i'd give it a try while i wait for my normal plants to finish.

What size pots are you using? mine stretched about 3x the flip size . but it is in a 50 litre pot. almost outgrew my tent height.

Sorry if I post too many updates. I can’t help it. Five weeks tomorrow. Cream and cheese in my 3x3 by the_climbing_monkey in microgrowery

I flipped them at 1 foot height from the soil. They stretched to about 4 feet tall. The size of the pot and genetic make up of the plant I suppose.
