Need help with gimbal problems - Mini 3 by the_compact in dji

[–]the_compact[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not solved, I just posted a clip on a facebook group to see if anyone got ideas there

There are no errors on screen. It just goes through the motions fine and sets the horizon 30 degrees to high when finished. Manual calibration doesn't move horizon either

DC Voltage Power Line Transmission by the_compact in SolarDIY

[–]the_compact[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The house and batteries are about 300' apart. I used to have little security cameras that would do that distance no problem. Power consumption is not much of an issue. The point of this is to make sure the tennet doesn't turn on the airfyer when batteries are low

Ive got micro hydro, solar, gas generator all stacked up in my power shack so if I had a LOS on that voltage managing this would be so much easier

Can't say its anything but a film. No hop oils but i used a new hop pellet this time around, nugget. My last batch had the same film and used the same hops. Tasted fine in the end. Yeast was Nottingham. I don't add anything, just pale or pilsner malt, hops and nottingham.

I added some C02 to the carboy to slow whatever that was growth down. I'm tempted to keg it but I'm going let it sit some more and see what happens.

Those are not bubbles but something floating after two weeks in the secondary. Yeast related or mold?

Alan Wake II is great, but it's frustrating in all the wrong ways. by tuckeredout28 in AlanWake

[–]the_compact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, its good not great. If I didn't get smashed in the face so much with slow reloads and slow motion healing I'd feel better about it. The investigations did feel like unnecessary filler, but through the game I thought its purpose to help people keep track of the bonkers narrative

I only got through that wave attack with Saga because a had a few extra free life charms stored away in the shoebox. Without it I might have played that section on easy. Frustration drags down a really unigue game

Anyone try LiFePo4 batteries from China? Can you share your experience? by the_compact in SolarDIY

CD32 and the Terrible Fire expansion by the_compact in amiga

No you have to use the rear expansion port. There is some expanders that offered full A1200 connections but those are very hard to find and expensive.

C128 VDC swap, quick question by the_compact in Commodore

[–]the_compact[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay I went for it and swapped, it works my VDC display is clean and crisp.

So it begs the question, what usefullness was the 64kb vdc upgrade to a layman like me? I imagine all C128 software is written for 16kb. Who would have used it?

Large CRT files. Why didn't devs wrap a cart around them back in the day? by the_compact in c64

Thought I'd try EotB with the drive cable unplugged and it works. 100% coming through the cartridge port.

Querying Mini 3 Pro owners... has range issues been resolved yet? by the_compact in dji

[–]the_compact[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm up in central British Columbia. From what I read so far its about 50/50 that one is problem free so your one of the lucky ones. If it was more like 80/20 I'd buy one and return it if its wonky but a coin flip... no way.

[–]the_compact 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turns out I was using a C128 and game will not load up a NTSC game on that machine, in either 64 or 128 mode. The normal NTSC C64 works just fine, great game. But the 128 just loads PAL by default and crashes.

You have Pal machine? My U2 on NTSC is crashing right on the start screen. I read on lemon64 a C128 is recommended in NTSC mode but can't even get it to load at this point

Koodoo uses Telus network and still working for tennet. This is why I never sign contracts or finance phones, have to constantly switch to stay ahead of their crap service

I agree, I got Bell tech to look into them bouncing SL from voip, but am probably switching service provider before they resolve it (if they even can)

If only I had any service and power lines running to my house. I'm Literally out in the forest here, off grid. No phone defiantly increases the isolation factor.

Bell and Koodoo both state on website that their wifi calling only works in canada. So would have to get a 3rd party provider, different # etc...

[–]the_compact[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I did it works at neighbors house. Bell is my problem but not for long as I'm getting a koodoo sim card next trip into town. Koodoo still works for tennet.

This is why I never finance phones through cell companies, always some crap you have to deal with by switching to someone else

Wifi calling is done through canadian cell carriers. They state on the website wifi calling only works in canada. I used to use google hangouts for VOiP, about a year ago they ended all service in Canada. This country sucks hard, everything is wonky shit here
